Senior Photos With Chad

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of creating senior photos for Chad.  A good family friend connected Chad and his family with me when they were disheartened by the senior photos they'd received from the school's senior photo photographer.  I was more than happy to help Chad and his family out by working with them to create some senior photos for them that they would be happy with.

Working with Chad's mom we decided on Great Neck Park in Virginia Beach as our photo session location.  Unfortunately the weather wasn't super cooperative and the day was superbly overcast with some very harsh light; fortunately though, the location we choose provided some amazing backdrops where the overcast harsh light could be filtered through the trees to help us create some amazing portraits.

During the whole photo session, Chad's mother was kept thoroughly busy by my own son.  I had brought him along to get him out of the house, and he quickly wrapped Chad's mother around his finger and kept her busy while I was taking photos.  In the end though, I don't know who had more fun, him or her.
For Chad's first set of photos he was dressed formally in a black suit with a red tie, an awesome choice in my opinion.  The red tie added an amazing pop of color in these photos which I think works perfectly.
Moving on from his suit, Chad changed clothes and we headed to another location in the park.  In fact, this second location was discovered as we were walking back to the car for him change.  A beautiful little shaded area with ivy growing all around the ground and the trees quickly became one of my favorite spots for Chad's photo session.
From the ivy covered tree area, we moved to a couple of other locations close by, an awesome wooden fence and then into the wooded area nearby for a few additional photos.
Chad is amazing young man with a quiet and congenial personality.  He was truly a pleasure to work with and I am superbly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him to create some amazing senior photos.

Thanks Amy for recommending me, and thank you Michele for trusting me to create Chad's senior photos!
